A nice enough traditional pub which can seem a bit rough and ready at times. As noted its very similar to the Volunteer next door.

Very similar in layout to the Volunteer next door. Again this is an L shaped room with the bar positioned on the right of entry. The interior was basic in deco and there was a pool table on the left handside. One ale on, which was Tetley Bitter, served too cold.
