Sadly another one now closed and likely for good..
A property developer called Campbell properties purchased it from Punch Taverns in March 2011 for £500K.
A planning application for houses and flats on the site was then submitted, but rejected by Cambridge council.
So the owners kept the pub going. However it shut at the end of January this year and is now boarded up with security fencing around it, and another planning application is probably on the cards.
Used to have one real Ale available but will be missed by the locals as it the sole remaining pub servicing the northern part of the Cherry Hinton district of Cambridge.
