The Oak Tree is a Greene King pub with wooden flooring that runs from the central entrance to the bar counter along the rear wall. Either side of the entrance are red tartan carpeted seating areas with fireplaces. The left-hand side is open plan and the right is part partitioned from the rest of the pub making it feel more like a dining area. The GK food menu is available. During a recent midweek evening visit there was some background music playing to the five or so locals in attendance. At least one of the televisions was airing muted BBC rolling News for those wishing to catch up with the latest Trump shenanigans. The bar supports standard and premium keg and one of the two hand pumps was in operation drawing GK Scrum Down. The service was friendly so I’d return if passing.

Nice pub. Didn't see any real ale on when I visited.
