I have passed this pub over the years having the odd pint in there. However over the last 12 months I have become a weekend regular and an odd mid week visitor when I can. I found that the staff particularly Tony and Lesley are extremely welcoming, and the regulars are a friendly bunch willing to talk to strangers and make them feel at home, as a regular now I hope I carry on the tradition. If you get a chance drop in for a drink....the Sunday afternoon crowd are a joy to be with
