Pretty standard Ember Inn, although it's nicely decorated and the barstaff were chatty. 4 beers available, I had a decent enough Saltaire Blonde. They still give a 20p CAMRA discount on a pint. It's a pleasant enough place without being anything special.

Boring and sterile Ember Inn across the bridge from the station. Really not much to say about it- the usual bog standard selection of ales at inflated prices, the usual corporate hotel bar decor inside. my Ghost Ship was passable but this was very much a quick tick and move on.

This was my second stop in Formby on a midweek visit and it was another disappointment.

An Ember Inns establishment near to the railway station. But as with most Ember Inns, their beer range has deteriorated over the past few years. The 4 fairly standard real ales on offer were Black Sheep Best Bitter & Twilighter, St Austell Tribute & Timothy Taylor Landlord. They do not stock a real cider.

There is a large car park to the side of the pub, alongside the railway line. Inside was the typically bland Ember Inns interior. Although it was reasonably busy with a mix of diners and drinkers.
