a good Irish bar that doesn't try too hard to flaunt its Irishness - it's perfectly decorated. three areas to sit besides the main bar and there were people in all of them this afternoon though the atmosphere was quiet. no doubt it's livelier later on. no real ale but Hophouse and some Opengate craft keg available. you're here for the Guinness though.

Top o' the mornin Oirish bar and a good one to. Quiet of a day usually packed of a night. If you avoid the professional Irish bores its much better. Lots of old Erin clutter around plus a selection of Gaelic footy tops dotted around the wall. And its Pogue Mahone not Mohone.
