When I wrote my previous review of this pub, resolving to come here more often, I had no idea - in fact, none of us did - that my plans would be scuppered by a pandemic. Even so, it's taken me a while to get back to this pub and the almost adjacent youth hostel. Last pub of the day as before, but my half of Lords Buckwild ESB nearly ruled itself out of contention as the abv looks much more like 8‰ than 5% on the pump clip - I thought it was just my cheap Poundland glasses, but it's really not. Whatever, it's a very decent 5% extra special bitter (NBSS 3.5) to finish off the evening. Good pub - must come here more often.

This has changed a bit since I was last here, but the beer selection is very good and there were plenty of customers. The Farmyard Brew Hoof coffee milk stout was very good.

The Baltic Fleet is still a reliable choice for a decent drink, especially if you're visiting or staying in the nearby Albert Dock. Although, it's not too convenient for the city centre.
The pub occupies a wedge-shape alongside the busy Wapping road. There are two rooms either side of the bar downstairs, with a further room upstairs. Since my last visit, toilets have been opened out to create a unisex area with separate cubicles and shared sinks. The old gents' toilet left a lot to be desired and was quite a cramped space.
Brimstage Trapper's Hat is the regular ale. Guests yesterday were Top Rope American Dragon, Cwrw Ial Limestone Cowboy & Melwood Baltic Fleet Stout. The ciders were Lilley's Red Rabbit & Raspberry Mojito.
