Kind of spoiled with very good traditional back street pubs in this part of town. This was perfectly reasonable pub, mainly with Oakham and Nethergate ales on. Alas, not much that stayed in the memory but this was more down to me trying to cram so much into a single evening!

A very good pub and another one deservedly busy early on a Friday evening. It has a bit of a down to earth locals vibe with five ales on offer, I opted for a very good Rudgate Viking. Proper pub.

Strongers . left this review about Live & Let Live
Live and Let Live was very busy on Friday evening last week. So much so that we ended up stood in the rear at a beer shelf in what felt like a corridor. The five cask offerings were Great Newsome’s Sleck Dust, Nethergate’s Suffolk County, Oakham’s Citra, Fat Cat’s Marmalade Cat and Settle Brewery’s Plum Porter. There were also six real ciders available as well as a craft keg range. This pub is on the revisit list for when I’m a bit more sober because this visit was nine hours into the crawl.
