The Riverview is a slender pub that has a central tile floored bar area with a serving counter across the rear that supports standard and premium keg alongside two hand pumps, one of which was in use drawing Doom Bar during a recent midweek late afternoon visit. To the left of the entrance is a raised wooden floored seating area with a television that was airing muted tennis via Sky Sports, a pool table and a jukebox that stood silent in favour of a local radio station. To the right of the bar area is more raised seating adjacent to a window that overlooks the Mersey and the Three Graces in the distance. The service was polite, but this isn’t somewhere I’d go out of my way to revisit, although it does get an extra point for the view.

I am the current land lady of The Riverview. It's a lovely traditional pub with beautiful views across the Mersey to the 3 graces. We have an extensive range of drinks to suit all palates, and we have excellent selection of home cooked freshly prepared food. You will receive a warm and friendly welcome thanks to the lovely staff working here. We have Karaoke Disco Friday's from 8. Come and take in the fantastic views and a great atmosphere this little pub has to offer.

Situated on a corner and overlooking Woodside Ferry terminal, the River Mersey and the Liverpool waterfront this pub is fine for a pint or a bite to eat but not really a long stay place. Its in 3 sections lengthwise with the servery central. To your right on entering is a raised area that looks out to the said views. To your left is another raised area where a pool table can be found. 2 handpumps on the bar but usually only 1 on (Old Speckled Hen).
