This used to be a cracking pub when Kev ran it years ago. Great selection of real ales. Now, sadly, it only serves beers straight from the urinal.

Situated on a busy main road, the Crown is quite impressive looking from the outside but this only flatters to deceive as the interior is slightly less so.On entry there is a large high ceilinged room to the left, and to the right an L shaped open area that follows the shape of the bar. There were 10 handpulls on the bar on my Thursday afternoon visit but sadly none of these were functional, and had to make do with a John Smiths. If there was any feature worth mentioning it is the decorative wooded frame at the rear of the bar that houses a large clock.
