Standard town centre boozer. Can be a bit loutish in the bar area but its ok in the lounge. Horse racing a speciality of a day. And, judging by the moaning, so is picking the wrong horse. Two rooms with the room to the right housing a pool table. There are a total of 4 handpumps (3 in the lounge, 1 in the bar) but only John Smiths Cask is available.
