Alan Winfield left this review about White Lion
The White Lion is a large old looking pub that is situated on the busy manchester road.
Once inside the pub had a smart and comfortable lounge, where i had a drink, this room was carpeted and had very comfortable bench seating and chairs, there was a seperate bar but i did'nt look in this room.
The pub was a Boddingtons tied house at the time of my visit, there was one real ale on the bar which was Boddingtons bitter, this was a decent enough drink.
This was quite a pleasant and smart pub at the time of my visit.
