In the large main seating area of the Welcome Inn is a grand fireplace and television for showing Sky Sports. In the much smaller right-hand bar is more seating and a pool table. In the front left adjacent to the entrance is a third seating area that had been reserved for the dart team, I imagine there is a board in there somewhere. During my recent Tuesday afternoon visit there was some background music playing for the benefit for my group and one other customer. There is a quiz on Thursdays. This is a Holts pub, so their usual keg options were present, and the four hand pumps were all drawing Holts Bitter. I liked the friendly welcome and the ambiance even though it was empty. I will be sure to return when next staying in Prestwich.
