I was here last autumn before the final match of the Rugby League season. It was moderately busy here on a Saturday afternoon, and the atmosphere seemed friendly. There's no real ale so I had a half of Guinness, which was ok.
According to Facebook there was a farewell night in January and the pub is now closed.
