A great pub and a really good name. I like the name because it is original and not something like 'The Queens Garden'or something stupid like that.

When i went in this pub it was called Squires which i thought was a pretty stupid name, the pub is situated on the corner of wilmslow road and barlow moor road.
Squires was a very large victorian built pub but i dont know what the original name of this pub was, once inside i went in a large room that looked a bit tired probably because the pub was empty,i think this was more of a night time venue for younger drinkers.
I was surprised to see three real ales on the bar i had a drink of Courage Directors bitter and this was a decent drink the other beers were John Smiths cask and Websters Yorkshire bitter.
The pub is still standing but i am not sure what its use is now.
