The Southern Hotel was a large suburban pub that had a distinctive curved frontage.
Once inside the pub had a few different rooms,i had a drink in the bar which was a large basic room with lots of normal tables and chairs in it.
When i went in this pub it was a Boddingtons tied house and there was one real ale on the bar which was Boddingtons bitter this was a decent enough drink.
I thought this pub was worth the walk from the middle of Chorlton and it is a shame that it has now closed down.
