A quirky place on two floors. Due to its vicinity its very studenty. I never went upstairs but the ground floor consists of an open plan room with a sunken part to the rear. The walls are quirkily decored with the wall opposite the bar composing of a load of bird houses. 3 handpumps on the bar but sadly only two on. Red Willow and a strange cider were your choices this afternoon. I quite liked this place.

When i went in this pub it was called Route 236 probably because its address is 236 wilmslow road.
Once inside i went in the room at the front which was not too big and more pubby than i thought it would be,there were two real ales on here i had a drink of Jennings bitter and this was a very nice drink the other beer was Tetley bitter.
I was surprised by this pub as it was a lot better than i thought it would be, i thought it was a decent enough place to relax and have a few drinks.
