When we first went in this pub it was called the Star,it was a Greenall Whitley tied house with their bland tasting Greenalls bitter on the bar.
On a later visit to Eccles the pub had been renaned to the Fox,it was a Vaux tied house.
Once inside there was a single room that we noticed with the bar facing,the seating was normal tables and chairs.
This was a pretty ordinary pub to have a drink in.
It is a shame that this pub has now closed down.
