Alan Winfield left this review about Railway Hotel
The Railway Hotel is a largish victorian built pub that was quite close to the now closed dean lane train station.
Once inside there were a few different rooms and i had a drink in what looked like a lounge, this room was very smart with carpets and it had a cosy feel to it.
This pub is a Joseph Holt tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Holts bitter and this was a very nice drink the other beer was Holts mild.
This pub is still up and running.
