The Nelson Inn is a small Craft Union pub with a bar counter on the rear wall to the right of the central entrance. It supports standard and premium keg alongside a handpump that was drawing Sharp’s Doom Bar. Banquette seating runs under the front windows both sides of the entrance and to the left is a dartboard. Three large televisions were showing muted Sky Sports football and Racing TV whilst some background music played. Karaoke is heavily advertised. The service was polite, but there’s not much to this pub.

Old School pub. Single room.... football on one TV and horse racing on the one at the other end. Clientele as you would expect from the entertainment on offer. Dont think there was any cask, so Staropramen it was.

A one roomed pub that looks to have had a refurb fairly recently. It's all painted in gentle pastel greens inside and there are 4 very large TV's, all showing racing on both ATR & Racing UK on my Friday, late afternoon visit. There's a dartboard and they were advertising a DJ on a couple of nights. I don't know where they fit it all in as it's not very big. Two handpumps on the bar but only Doom Bar actually on with a turned around Timothy Taylors Landlord clip on the other. As it was Doom Bar I only had a half, but it was in good condition and very cheap for Didsbury at £1.13. It's a decent enough pub, but the pedestrain beer range is a negative.
