Alan Winfield left this review about The Milestone
The Milestone is a largish pub that was built by Banks's brewery in the mid 80s.
Once inside this pub had a typical layout of these sort of pubs,i went in a largish room that was carpeted and had comfortable bench seating and normal tables and chairs.
This pub was a Banks's tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Banks's mild and this was a very nice drink the other beer was Banks's bitter.
This was a decent enough pub to have a drink in.
