Alan Winfield left this review about The Kestral
The kestrel is an estate pub that is in a fairly quiet area off lighbowne road.
Once inside the pub had two rooms there was a smartish lounge and a more basic bar i had a drink in the bar and this was a decent enough room.
This pub used to be a Wilsons tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Wilsons bitter and this was a decent drink the other beer was Wilsons mild.
I thought this was a decent enough pub and i was happy enough having a drink in here.
