The Hamlet was a large stand alone pub that was situated half way along abbey hey lane.
Once inside the pub had a few different rooms and i had a drink in the bar which was fairly basic but a decent enough room to have a drink in.
This pub was a Vaux tied house when i visited it and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Vaux Samson and this was a decent drink the other beer was Vaux bitter.
This pub is still standing but it is now tinned up awaiting its fate.
