The Griffin was a large stand alone pub.
The pub was a Wilsons house but it had Websters signs on the outside, once inside the pub had a few rooms and i had a drink in a fairly comfortable lounge.
There were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Wilsons bitter and this was a decent drink the other beer was John Smiths bitter which was on handpump.
I thought this was a decent enough pub to have a drink in.
It is sad to see that this is yet another pub in this area of Manchester to close down.
