Alan Winfield left this review about The George Inn
The George was an ordinary looking stand alone pub that had the dreaded Centric signs outside.
Once inside there were two rooms a smallish lounge and a more basic bar which is where i had a drink, there were no real ales on the bar and the only bitter was keg Bass special which was a pretty dire drink.
Sadly this pub has closed down and it is now a couple of shops.
Yet another East Manchester pub to close down.
