Bent Brook is a Flaming Grill where some karaoke was in progress adjacent to the entrance during a recent Tuesday evening visit. An L-shaped bar counter serves a bar area to the left and the main bar area that runs up the right facing open plan seating that was being mainly used by diners. A glass screen and door separate these areas, meaning that the karaoke couldn’t be heard in the bar area. There’s a pool table and screens throughout are available for showing live football. Standard and premium keg was available and the hand pumps were drawing Greene King’s Old Speckled Hen and Yardbird, the Abbot was off. I don’t mind FG pubs when out with the family because the food is dirt cheap and passable, however this isn’t somewhere I would seek out just for a beer again.
