Corner pub with a couple of different entrances. It used to be one of my favourite pubs in Manchester but has gradually gone downhill, as the cask ale range has diminished. So, I hadn't been in for over 5 years when I returned on a Monday evening.

4 cask ales were on - Siren Memento, Pennine Hair of the Dog & Eyam Bubonic Plague & Ring o'Roses. Craft beers were Super 8 Peach, Abbeydale Serenity, Liquid Mistress Red IPA, Farm Yard Chaff & Siren Lumina. My Bubonic Orange was fairly nice and consumed as the pub was getting set for a quiz night.

Whilst the pub still does look a little forlorn from the outside, the interior feels a little bit more cosy. Still worthy of including on a crawl but not what it once was.

A further reduction in the number of hand pulls since my review from a couple of years ago - now down to six but this is probably more manageable than the 11 or so they used to have. Craft keg options also available, and everything listed on a big chalk board behind the bar. Always seems pretty busy in here - no complaints.

Revisit - amazed at the prices. A standard 5% German Keg and a packet of nuts - £7.80. Outrageous from such a shabby looking place, where I risked electric shock by plugging my phone to charge in a 3 way socket that can't have been Pat Tested or tested by anyone else either.
