No cask. Keg offering of Amstel, Fosters, Neck Oil, Moretti, Guinness, Heineken, Cruz and Inch's cider.
Front of venue has bar counter opposite entrance with a patterned tiled skirt in an otherwise boarded venue. Largely tall tables and high-backed chairs with half height boarding to the walls. Sage green paint scheme the order of the day here. Quite a few TV screens showing the late afternoon racing action without commentary, that being provided by an 80's pop soundtrack. To the right of the entrance beyond the end of the bar counter down a couple of steps is a carpeted area with regular tables and chairs, nice and light with the large windows and leading out into a garden area at the side of the venue, paved with picnic benches. Off to the right-hand end of the bar counter are a couple of additional areas. There is a front bar counter serving a small space looking out onto the main road again with tall tables and tall chairs. Off to the side is another area with some regular tables and chairs and some high-backed booth tables with dark blue velvet fabric. A DJ booth stands in the far corner. This is a large venue that I assume is busy at certain times, but it is fairly non-descript otherwise.
With the Woodhouse clearly not re-opening , my only unvisited venue in another small postcode area pub wise after passing it a couple of times when seemingly not open on my visit, I would have no hesitation making the Bohemia as my most enjoyed pub visit in N12. The Elephant would be the only conceivable rival, and a nice venue, but let down by a poor cask offering on my visit. PS, an open Woodhouse would not have changed my conclusions based on reading Strongers reviews of some time ago!

A famous local landmark as the High Road splits in two but these days a terrible pub. It's been modernised with all character removed, modern fitments, high tables abound and event the tiling around the serveries is faux. There are two sections off Ballards Road and two further sections on the lower High Road side, each with their own servery ,and a massive sports flatscreen in the square room with blue seating booths and a mixing desk. There is a small fireplace in here but little of any other heritage feature survives.
Needless to say no real ale ,so just a half of Neck Oli at £3.50 a rip off.Just keep on walkiung past.

The Tally Ho dates from at least the mid-19th century, probably rebuilt in the ‘20s as a roadhouse joint for Charrington’s, becoming a ‘spoons on 1st May 1991; Sir Spoonalot’s offices once occupied the top floor, the pub probably best known for its name adorning bus numbers, for Tally Ho Corner is a terminus.
This has been a Stonegate pub since 2016 and the interior is a mashup of what’s trying to look like a traditional pub, though modern and done up on the cheap, with a shades of grey and white colour scheme, bright lighting – including an illuminated advertisement board – tiled bar back, games machines, pool, split levels, silent unwatched sport, mixed conventional furniture and not much décor. Customers amounted to an elderly duo, then around four young drinkers swearing their heads off at the bar at the time of my 9.15pm Wednesday visit.
There is cask: Pride and Landlord, £2.50 a half (Dynamic Pricing is employed) and fine, served by a nondescript barman.
Probably better when once a ‘spoons, this is a poor place, the customers being the worst element. Choose Life. Avoid N12. Avoid Finchley.
Rated 3.5.
