This place has two pool tables and two dartboards so it is a decent enough place to pop into with some mates for an hour or two of pub sports. I say with some mates as, apart from one or maybe two people at a push I found the patrons of this pub to be quite unaccommodating. It is a shame as there are also two projector screens for showing Sky and Setanta and they have just started up the live music again at the weekends.
There is still no real ale, but I enjoyed my Guinness and there is also a selection of bog standard draught available. The staff were friendly enough, but I got the impression that the locals aren't that impressed with the owners and feel that they are trying to bleed the place dry.
