Changed to a nightclub called Sequoia. The club then had its licence revoked after a serious incident on New Years Eve. Reopened later in the year and was closed again by Police in April 2014. Sounds lovely.

There used to be two separate bars back when this place was called The Bull and Butcher, but the room on the left hand side of the pub has been turned into a Thai restaurant. There also used to be a pool table which has now gone making way for a dance floor as this is now a self styled bar club and music venue. I’ve always found the staff to be very friendly, but unfortunately the rude and arrogant minority of Whetstone have always seen this place as their local and each time I have been in I have come across one of these cringingly stereotypical thick chavs.

The front outside has been cleaned up and is very good for a beer even with its close proximity to the high street. Also, the crepe van can still be found trading in the car park.

There is a doorman after a certain time at the weekends, but I’ve never stayed that late so I don’t know if an entry charge kicks in during the evenings – I’d imagine that there is one.
