No cask. Keg offering of Fosters, John Smiths, Guinness, Inch's cider, Stella, Laine Rippa, Carling, Amstel, Madri.

This quite a small traditional and uber locals’ shop fronted venue, bare boarded with bar counter along the left-hand wall. There is some tall stool seating at the bar counter but otherwise a mixture of tall table and regular table seating. Quite a few gaming machines and TVs that were switched off on my visit. A darting area in the rear left-hand corner plus an outside smoking area at the rear. Music was heavy reggae. Pleasant venue of its type.

A very tired pub. A basic drinking house with half a dozen screens dotted around for football. No food available when I visited at 8.30 on a monday evening. The one real ale available was Doom Bar (yawn). Handy for the bus stop into town. The Drum opposite is a better pub but this seemed friendly enough.
