A cosy country inn, oozing with olde worlde charm, popular with walkers tackling the nearby Icknield Way. A four-ale line-up comprised Wadworth 6X and Rugby-themed Dirty Rucker, Hop Stuff Pale Ale and Leighton Buzzard Love Struck (the last two in excellent shape). There's an abundance of settle-style seating opposite the entrance-facing bar, plenty of exposed beams and flagstone floor and the food menu looks pleasingly pub grubby.
