This is a small Irish pub that has lots of paraphernalia from the Emerald Isle on the walls. It is split into two small bars and there is a TV in each for showing football and GAA etc. There is also a jukebox in both bars and some old Irish songs were playing for the aging crowd that was in attendance. There are signs up everywhere stating that the toilets are for customer use only as this is the first place commuters come across with a toilet after their rail journey to Dalston station next door. There is some leeway though because a polite enquiry to the landlady will gain access for a small donation to the poor pot.
There are no real ales here and only a generic draught offering, but the Guinness was good.
There’s far too much MAN U(re) memorabilia up on the walls for my liking and I wouldn’t go out of my way to drink here again, but it is handy for a swift pint if a train has just been missed.
