Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Springbok Pub
Not the sort of southern hemisphere backpackers place one might imagine from the name, but the local for QPR's nearby Loftus Road ground (and strictly for home fans only on match days). The clubs colours are also reflected in the interior paintwork, which - with the lack of windows (except for the seats by the entrance) - gives the place a strange look. Only the front part of the bar is used at quieter times, but it seems to have a good community atmosphere (especially when 'Summer of '69' comes on the jukebox and the place erupts into a community singalong with Bryan Adams...). No real ale, so had to make do with a John Smiths (£3.20).
