Pete Yeates left this review about The Bell
Currently closed, the Bell is at the top end of Prewett Street to the rear of the Ramada Hotel on Redcliffe Way. Once a very busy pub, it is another that has been closed for several months.
The Cribbage team currently plays elsewhere, but still plays under the Bell banner.
Other nearby pubs are still trading, but two disappeared in the last 20-30 years; the Sherwood Tavern at the bottom of Somerset Street and the Nelson on Clarence Road.
Re-photgraphed 27/7/2009. Still closed and allegedly has a covenant from the owners that it cannot re-open as a Public House?
