Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Goldsmiths Arms
Large 1930s estate pub with more than a hint of brewer's Tudor about both main facades. Inside, the overall 'L'-shaped interior has been stripped of almost all original character at some stage, and as a Flaming Grill house the generally orange and brown colour scheme is verging on the noxious. There are also a few wooden benches out front and a substantial beer garden to one side. Beer-wise, just Greene King IPA (cheap for the area at £2.69, but not in bad form) from the three handpumps. Brew Dog Punk IPA also noted amongst the various keg taps. Overall, in other circumstances it would be barely passable, but as the only pub for a good distance in any direction I'm glad it's still here...
