The Maltese Cat was an estate pub that was built to serve the estate that it was on.
This pub was in the Roehampton area and there was'nt many other pubs nearby,once inside there were two rooms i went in the lounge which was quite smart and comfortable this pub was a Youngs tied house and there were two of their beers on the bar i had a drink of Youngs bitter which was a very nice drink.
Sadly this pub was pulled down so it is now a long walk for the locals who lived in the flats close to this pub.
