The Castle was a late 50s built pub that was a short walk from Putney high street.
The pub looked decent enough from the outside and once inside the pub had two decent sized rooms with a decent smart bar and a smart comfortable lounge,we had a drink in the bar and we were quite happy in this room.
The pub was a Youngs tied house and there were two real ales on the bar,we had a drink of Youngs bitter which was a very nice drink the other beer was Youngs Special.
It is a shame that this pub has now gone forever.
