Although there is one hand pump this was off during my visit meaning that only a standard draught range was available, but this didn’t seem to bother the locals that were tucking into the Stella whilst playing on the pool table at the rear. There is also another pool table at the front of the pub along with a dartboard and a TV which was off making way for some modern pop music.
I didn’t find this to be the most welcoming of pubs and with the Eagle being across the road I cannot see myself returning.
