A busy and lively pub on a vibrant street, attractive internally with wooden flooring and wall paneling as well as some tiling. As a Youngs pub I wasn't expecting too much on the beer front but apart from the Original there was also Five Points Best and Redemption Trinity a superb beer at only 3% but shockingly priced at £6.70.
Price aside I really liked the vibe of this pub and would look in again.

Situated on very trendy Bermondsey Street, this place dates back to the end of the 18th century when it was known as the Cock & Magpie, the current name applied around 1837 to an attractive blue and white stuccoed building with a former Taylor Walker sign frame, opposite the Garrison and a very different beast it is too.
The interior still has quite a pubby feel, with a dark wood interior, black Anaglypta ceiling and some fine avocado green studded booth-style seating. There are two items of note, being the attractive glazed tiling to the left-hand wall which continues into the loo, looking Victorian and probably original. Also of interest is the repurposed dark wood and glazed panelling next to the helical staircase on the right-hand side, with the name of the Cock & Magpie to it; is this from the original pub? There are sausages rolls available from the bar, a substantial beer garden, TVs (off), spun metal shaded sconces, some frosted screens to the rear bearing the pub’s name and of course, trendy young professional customers, one with an intrusive dog in tow; on the downside, acoustics are very poor making for difficult conversation had I not been alone.
Despite being a Young’s pub, there was an unpredictable ale range in the form of London Original, then Five Points Pale (‘Coming Soon’) and Bermondsey Best, good but at a very pricey £3.15 a half, served by a cheery barman.
This is a decent place, but the limited ale range, roaming dog, acoustics and very high prices result in a lower than otherwise deserved mark.

Nice mid terrace pub.Found the interior tiling a bit ugly.Busy pub with a large area to the rear. Three cask beers on but forgot to note but the Hackney(possibly) was decent.
