As mentioned below, this is now a Turkish themed restaurant and bar with a night club in the basement. We also concluded that this one is presumably aimed at the younger student demographic and although there is a wide variety of drinks available and chalk boards on the pavement proclaiming Pints of beer at £4.50, this was clearly not referring to real ale, so we were not enticed in.

This is a mid-19th century pub, still retaining its original name, though not identity.
With a large Turkish flag hanging down the corner splay, this is now a shisha bar/restaurant/nightclub and so on, with garish lighting and an interior which you can see for yourselves on their website; be warned, as it’s not pub-like anymore.
As this place now seems to revolve around serving cocktails to students from the nearby University of Greenwich and few at 9.30 on a Friday evening, I left.

called Thursday 8th Jan not our sort of place no hand pulls looked grubby is grubby had a room were they were smoking those bong pipe,s sat round in a circle quick half and left
