After visiting spoons across the road it was great to visit a real pub. Pool table,dartboard and live music all available on my friday afternoon visit. 1 real ale and food served.

Found the customers friendly and liked to chat was the cheapest pub we had a drink in that day.Ok the pub might be a bit rough round the edges but what you see is what you get. Had a very good pint of Gypsy Hill

The Lord Hood is an L shaped local’s pub with a pool table by the entrance and a dartboard at the rear. Standard draught is available alongside two hand pumps that were drawing Bombardier and Courage Best. I didn’t spot any sport advertised, but there is a plasma screen that was showing the quiz program The Chase during my visit yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon.

I wasn’t overly impressed with this place, but I had just left the far superior and friendly Old Loyal Britons.
