I visited this one on the 24th April so I am guessing a few days ahead of the reviewer below. This is a former Truman house now finding modern life as a craft beer emporium. A chalk board on the pavement outside tries to entice you in with 20 beer lines and a banging beer garden (although their pavement advertising is underselling themselves as there are actually 23 beer lines when you factor in the three hand pumps, but this shows where the focus is on here).
Now internally one large stripped back space, but it’s easy to spot from the fireplaces and ceiling beams to where the original public and saloon bars were. It’s got a bit of an Antic PubCo feel to it but fortunately nowhere near as shabby and the furniture was comfortable as opposed to being reclaimed from a skip.
It does indeed have an excellent garden outback as advertised and I guess this is a great summer pub for days warmer than the day I visited.
The same two ales and one cider as below were on the three ale pumps but the Tribute was on for my visit. However, I ducked the two real ales and perused the keg board (about half And half between interesting craft brews and run of the mill keg offerings) before going for the Siren Broken Dream stout which, at £7.80, is about the going rate for a 6.5% craft keg stout. It was actually value for money as I tried to blend in by pretending to be a hipster student and took three times longer to sup it than it would have taken me to down a 4% session ale.
This one is probably best judged on a fine weather summers day when I imagine the upwardly mobile demographic of the surrounding area pack out the outside space.

A lovely name for a pub that conjures up many images. This is, as always well described below, a very pleasant open plan room after you enter via the enticing corridor of a non-descript residential street. There is a nice vibe to the venue and it benefits from a large external space out the back of the pub. The venue has a well advertised quiz on a Wednesday evening and so it was pretty quiet on my visit around 9pm this evening.

There is indeed a tap wall of, by my count, 20 beers. Plenary of unexciting quaffs you see in a lot of places but enough to get craft fans salivating. I had a pint of the Sonar Hazy Session IPA. There are three hand pumps. One dispensing Old Rosie, one dispensing, wait for it, Doom Bar, and the other signs that it is ordinarily Tribute, but turned round on my visit!

This is a 5/6 venue for me. Definitely worth a call in if in the area but definitely not one to head to from far and wide. After spending time in the lovely Crown & Greyhound this evening, edges it to a 5 for me to ensure clear blue water on the rating scale.

Huge open plan interior, access gained by a corridor with an old Trumans sign. Photo provided - if it makes it through the selection process on this site :-)

All punters in the huge garden - which is very pleasant. All kegs at the bar, with the three cask hand pulls turned around. On inquiry the Redemption Hopspur was on - even if not labelled - and in great condition.
