No cask. Typical North London Irish pub offering of Guinness (it was superb here), K1664, Carlsberg, Fosters, original SB, John Smiths.
This was a moment in time for me. An unremarkable North London Irish bar, a guy playing recorded Irish music from a small station in the front window, but it just all came together. The venue is bare boarded with the lively bar counter (no surprises stools around and all occupied) mid venue along the right-hand wall. Some fabric banquettes along some of the walls, regular tables, and a pool table in the back corner. TV screens showing the evening racing, walls adorned with Irish sporting memorabilia and pithy sayings above the bar. For me, a little bit of Celtic magic in NW10. The best of the many Irish bars in this neck of the woods by some way in my honest opinion. No cask but what turned out to be easily my favourite visit to a venue in the NW10 area.
