Strongers . left this review about Mcgoverns
This place is a small Irish shop conversion that has four screens for showing football and horse racing which were all off when I visited on Sunday night. There was some dance chart music playing in the background, but the aging locals seemed more interested in who I was than listening to the tunes. There is some Irish memorabilia on the walls along with three massive air con units that looked a bit grim. The barmaid was polite enough, but the Guinness that I had from the standard draught selection was below par.
Mcgoverns has not found its way onto my revisit list.
