Tris C left this review about The Tarmon
The Duke of Richmond until 1984, this is - to put it politely - a very basic pub indeed, aimed squarely at locals. A half of Kronenbourg for £1.60, necked and I was off.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Tarmon
Quite a few original features on the exterior, but that is where the interest stops unfortunately. The interior has been entirely stripped out and subject to the most cheapskate refurbishment than I can think of. Also quite a few creaking bench tables outside (albeit under a cloud of tobacco smoke). Three disused handpumps, so it was a very quick pint of John Smiths Extra Taste-free (£2.60) and I was off...
