The Holy Tavern doesn't seem much changed from its Jerusalem Tavern days, even down to the cask ales dispensed via taps protruding through the wall behind the bar, 2 of which are from St Peters (the third being Southwark London Pale, which was reasonable). There's a few modern keg as well. As in its earlier incarnation, there's several poky rooms which would quickly see the place overcrowded but fortunately, most customers have opted for outside on this warm evening.
Service is super - friendly, though the two on tonight have relocated Anspach and Hobday Brewery to Belgium in their beer recommendations!
Its an interesting place to pop into, but prices are pretty ambitious, with a pint of cask and half of keg coming in at £11.60, so overall, rather too expensive to stick around for too long.

Ditto again. It still has considerable atmosphere when busy, but finding it empty on a lunchtime, the place is starting to look a bit tatty and run down rather than (falsely) ancient. The beers are still good though.
