Set back from the road, this has been a popular Camra haunt for a few years now, so a selection of Ruddles Best, GK IPA Reserve, Brains Bread of Heaven and Skinner's 6 Nations-themed Splendid Tackle, seemed a little pedestrian. A central bar serves two rooms, one fore, one aft, with the two accessed via a passageway to the right of the bar. A variety of tables and chairs of varying height occupy the front bar along with a festoonment of 6 Nations flag on the ceiling along with former pump clips. The pub grub looks tempting, but overall it's a bit of a let-down.
