David Walton left this review about The March Hare

Visited 01/07/26. Visited previously as Callooh Callay on 18/09/23.

No cask. Keg offering of Sapporo, Guinness, their own branded pilsner and cider and Brooklyn Stonewall Inn IPA.

Recently converted from Callooh Callay to still in same ownership March Hare. Bare boarded venue with L-shaped bar counter in the rear right-hand corner with tall stool seating at the bar counter. Frontage opened with some tables to sit out the front on the pavement. A few tall tables off the right-hand side with tall stools ahead of the bar counter. Red studded leather banquette in the front part of the left-hand side serving small tables with low stools the other side thereof. Similar banquette seating at the rear of the left-hand side plus a couple of facing leather sofas. There is some downstairs function space but looks like still being refurbished. Some TV s switched off on my visit but about to be switched on for today’s WC footy action. In the meantime, a rip-roaring music soundtrack being played.
