Tris C left this review about Henry J Beans
This was originally the Six Bells but I remember it well in the late 1980s as Henry J Beans, a big spacious place influenced by American diners.
The fad at the time was to share pitchers of Chicago Old Gold lager which of course became warm before you finished it.
It had a certain curiosity value, but I never really took to it like some of my friends who lived locally and couldn't stay away from the place.
No loss.

Very expensive pub. £3.35 for a pint of Guinness, no real ale. Seems to deal with the locals who have money to waste. Sells cocktails.
